Advice please....

Hello lovely Christmas Elves ...

Just wanting some advice, please.  I thought that for a change I would try to Finish my latest Christmas Ornie, Xmas Tea, straight away - I know, I know, be still my beating heart!  I am actually going to be organised! lol!

Anyway, reaching into my newly organised tub of Christmas fabric, literally the first fabric that caught my eye was this one:

But then I rummaged around a little bit more and found this one:

I think that I am leaning more towards the second one but I would love a second opinion - so please let me know what you think.

hugs, Kaye

P.S. Don't forget to check out my previous post about ideas for next year's themes.  Looking forward to your input on that post, please.

So far, Theme 1 is appealing to some people whilst some great ideas are coming in for Theme 2.

I'd vote for the second choice, too

Second choice, the design on the fabric is smaller and won't take away from the beautiful stitched piece. Happy Stitching! ~ C's Cross Stitch Creations ~

I'm a cloth 2. I like small patterns .
Christmas tea with cinnamon and vanilla smells here too :-)))

I also like the second one but for a different reason. It's a small ornie so you won't see much of the background. The larger print would look good on a bigger finish.

Both are beautiful but the ornament is small, so my choice would be the second fabric.

The second one.

Second fabric, I think would look very nice because the details are so much smaller than on the first.

Love the first fabric... but in this case I think Fabric #2 will be the winner! The smaller print will work on the smaller sized ornie and it does seem to fit better with the design as well :o)
Can't wait to see the finished ornie! :o)

Beautiful ornament! I vote for #2 also...I think the smaller print will look better on a small project.
