DJ's October Post

Hi Stitchers!

Whew, is it just me or does time seem to be flying by?  What a crazy year this has been....but thankfully I'm keeping up with this SAL!

So still keeping up with two themes this year, the first being the 12 Days of Christmas.  I've been working on Dragon Dreams the 12 Dragonlets of 2012 and this month is the 10 th dragon, 10 Dragons Leaping.  These guys  are just too funny!

The second theme I've been working on was Theme Three and was specific years from the JCS Ornament issue.  This month the year was 2006 and I chose a Blackbird Design called Quaker Medallion Strawberry Pinkeep.  Unfortunately I haven't had time for finishing lately, but hopefully I'll be better next month!  (Wishful thinking on my part I think...)

Anyway, that's it for this month...I've been enjoying seeing what the rest of you have been stitching!  I hope you are all safe and well....Happy Stitching!

Suzanne's October Ornament

Hi Everyone! I've done lots of stitching and finishing but only one fits Theme Four - Christmas Baking. I'm working on these lovely freebies from Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting, , Barnyard Christmas. This one is called Baking on the Farm. Perfect!!

I'm finishing all of these the same way on 18 count oatmeal Aida with called for DMC threads. I can't wait to display them this year.

I post all my finished stitching on my Flickr account here: and at Rachel's Ten Hour Stitcher Fully Finished Gallery each month:

I hope everyone is well. Take care!
