September & Christmas presents

Hello!

I had planned to stitch this months ornament at the weekend during IHSW but I couldn't resist starting him...and then finishing him!

He is the 3rd in the joan Elliot Roly-polies set and with the theme being tree/presents he falls into the present category nicely.

So...here he is!

and here he is with the other two...

I am looking forward to next month and the angel!

He is such a cutie! I thought I might not like stitching him but how wrong was i?

They are quite large in size (about 5 inches tall) so I will need to put them on the largest of my trees...hehehe...

These are so cute! Am I right in thinking that you are stitching them on plastic?

Yes, plastic canvas and I think it's very good for ornies.

Very, I'm currently raiding my wips and stash for a distraction.

Oh Kate, they are all wonderful. I love Joan Elliott's designs a lot and can understand that you didn't want to stop stitching him, lol.
