Rita's April White Christmas

HIH's Wee Snow.  I thought I already had the button in my stash.  I did but the wrong color so I had to order another one.

Rudolph Kranz

Hello friends!

I have FINALLY finished my February ornament.  It is a freebie I found by Kissy-Cross called Rudolph Kranz

Well back to stitching I go!  I have already made a start on my March Ornament.  It isn't quite so big so I should be back here soon!

Happy Stitching!

April finish- Winter Silhouette !

Good Morning,

I chose Winter Silhouette 1 by Handblessings Designs as my April ornament.  It is in the Nov/Dec 2013 JCS issue.  I decided to add beads for the fallen snow.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

A Chuch in the Snow

This is my ornament for April.  Since the Caroling theme was White Christmas, I looked for something with lots of snow and I'm very happy with what I found.  Instead of fabric, I used 14-count plastic canvas so with the addition of a hanger and backing it will be ready to go on my tree this year.

In looking ahead to future themes, does anyone have any ideas for Good King Wenceslas or God Rest Ye Marry Gentlemen?  I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

Little Stitches Art - Three French Hens

Here I am again to show all of you my new hootie from the Hooties 12 Days of Christmas. I like more and more the design I chose for this SAL. This month I stitched the owl corresponding to the third day of Christmas, three french hens. Still I couldn't catch up.......

A White Christmas Ornament

Here is my design for April's White Christmas theme:

(sorry I haven't pressed it yet!) It is Victoria Sampler's Learning Collection kit for Kloster Blocks. It was a fun, quick stitch! I am really enjoying the VS Learning Collection this year and fitting them in with the monthly themes!

Faith's April Ornament

Rule Four is ready for April!

A very good rule that we should try to do and pass on to future generations.

This is how the entire piece looks right now.

On to the next rule...

Thanks for looking and for the

Feeling up to date and super organised!

Wow! I have actually caught up and I have chosen May's design already and plan to start it tomorrow (New Start Sunday) - I am so chuffed!

Here we are:

January:  Fa La La by Little House Needleworks. I did change the right hand carol singer's dress to blue as I thought it would be prettier (and somehow their dresses got longer to hide their boots - but we won't talk about that - lol!)

March: 2015 2018 Years ago by WDC Needlework (from Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments 2015).  I made quite a few alterations to the original design but I am thrilled with how this turned out.

April: Frosty Friends by Blue Ribbon Designs from Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments 2017.

These finishes are all the by-product of being stuck home for five days with Gastric Flu (no fun at all!) so I suppose it just goes to show that there is always a silver lining!

hugs,

Suzanne's April - Four "Calling" Birds

Hello! I'm posting my April ornament Four "Calling" Birds from Dragon Dreams 12 Dragonlets of Christmas. We are supposed to get a little snow here tomorrow. Spring hasn't quite arrived in my neighborhood.
