DJ's March Madness

Hi everybody!  Between Wedding planning (for my DS), estate settlement, viruses, and all the usual craziness, I was actually able to finally catch up on my Christmas stitching!  Yippee!!  This year I've limited myself to only two of the themes.

First off is Theme one...who can resist the 12 Days of Christmas?  I sure can't!!  This is Three French Hens from the Stoney Creek Magazine Winter 2019.

And for Theme Three the suggestion this month was for a pattern from the 2012 JCS Ornament Issue, and I chose Peace Pin Button 2012 by Jeanette Douglas.  This is stitched on 40 ct. over two (with the lettering stitched over one) light mocha.   It's tiny but I love how it came out!

Hopefully things will slow down soon and I'll be able to get these things finished into ornaments!  Wish me luck!!  I hope you are all staying safe, keeping healthy, and finding comfort in your stitching!  It's hard to help plan a wedding set for May when you are sheltering from home.  I keep praying we will be back to normal soon, and my son and his lovely Bride to be will be able to get married and sent on their honeymoon.  It's definitely a year to remember!  Happy Stitching everyone!

Suzanne's March Ornaments

Hello everyone!
I am continuing with the Just Cross Stitch Magazine theme this month. My first ornament is from the 2012 Christmas Ornament Preview issue. I've completed the Blue Ribbon Designs Woodsy Winter on 18 count aida using the DMC conversion. I've finished it the same as my previous two as a flat ornament and jute twine.
My second ornament is the Blue Ribbon Designs Roaming Reindeer from the 2012 Christmas Ornament issue also on 18 count aida using the DMC conversion and finished as a flat ornament.

I'm enjoying this series of designs. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's stitching this month.
