Mary's April Free Choice...Alleluia Egg

I took advantage of the free choice this month to do something that is not really a Christmas ornament, but one for Easter! Well, it could work for Christmas too. It is so pretty I will probably leave it out year round for now! The design is from Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine, April 1998. It is a contest winning design from a subscriber. What a talented person! No wonder it won! I loved stitching it. The variety of stitches was fun. It was charted to say ABC 123 but I changed it to Alleluia which fit perfectly. I was happy to find some really good lace to coordinate for the trim. I will get back to something more Christmas-y next month!

Mary's March Mouse

For my March ornament I made a Just Nan mouse, this one is Holly Go Brightly. She's far too cute to be one of the naughty mice in the Nutcracker, but I really wanted to make a mouse so squeezed her into the theme!

Serendipitous Jo's April Ornament

Once again I am following the 12 Days of Christmas theme.  This year I am stitching the Jardin Prive 12 Days as my monthly project.  I am also continuing with the large Bothy Threads' design but won't be completing one block of those per month!

This is Day 4, completed 6th April, 2022:

I'm using a gorgeous 32 count linen called Millenium Blue and Anchor threads.

I'm planning to finish these as individual ornaments.

Suzanne's April Ornaments

Hello everyone! I'm still working on a little piece of the Nutcracker Sampler. This month I did the Grandfather Clock and candles.

I also worked on the Just Cross Stitch ornament from 2016. The Little Stitcher, Laura Rimola, Blue Snowman. I know others of you have stitched this one. I thought it was so cute, I had to stitch it too.

Stitched on 28 count Aida with called for DMC threads. I had some white beads in my stash to finish it off. Finished as a flat ornament.

I hope everyone is well. See you all next month!
