4 Little Reindeer
Hello!
This month I chose to stitch Yuletide by Plum Street Samplers which can be found in the 2011 Just Cross Stitch Christmas Issue. It is stitched on 32ct linen with threads I chose from my stash.
I am a one trick pony in the finishing department but my mother is a seamstress so for something a little more elaborate than I can manage I am going to take this with me next weekend and see what she comes up with. I will try to remember to share a picture when it is done.
Can't wait to see what you all stitch next month!
Brigitte's May ornament
Hello friends,
lately I stitched my reindeer ornament. It's from the JCS ornament issue 2009 and I had wanted to stitch it for quite a while.
Happy Stitching,
Brigitte

Noni's Reindeer
As we slide through to the end of yet another month.... I have my finished Reindeer on show...
This gorgeous reindeer is called "Christmas Test Drive" and designed by Mosey N Me. The design was published in the Just Cross Stitch Christmas 2015 issue.
I stitched him on 28ct linen - the colour isn't showing up too well but it is a very pale green... quite a pretty colour and that red shows up really well in real life!
I love this reindeer and Santa... they are so cute :o)
See you next month
Hugs xx

Reindeer, anyone?
I must apologise, I have had my reindeer finished since the 13th May but I have only just found the time to post now.
However, I have been enjoying all of the fabulous Reindeers that everyone else has stitched - they are all so gorgeous.
Anyway, for this month, I finished my second Nordic ornament from PS Book #191.
Isn't he a proud, handsome fellow?

He is a companion piece to the April theme of "Ornament".
Now to find a Christmas pet to stitch for next month!

On Time and Jumped the Gun
Finished May's challenge -
I found this pattern from Cathy Habermann (Hands on Design) in the "Just Cross Stitch" 2015 Holiday Issue.
As I looked forward to June, I stitched this delightful little guy designed by Rhona Norrie in "The World of Cross Stitching" magazine, #223. Isn't he adorable?
OK - now.....back to stitching! And a huge THANK YOU to Kaye for organizing this SAL.

Serendipitous Jo's May Ornament - Reindeer
I've been stitching the Primitive Hare Christmas Cubes for my ornies this year. But there isn't a Cube which fits this month's theme of Reindeer. So that gave me the excuse to finally start a series I have been hoarding for about five years! Daffycat's annual reindeer freebie!
Jinglebell Reindeer from 2008
I didn't stitch him twice but I couldn't decide which photo looked better. The colours are more accurate in the top one but you can see him better in the bottom one.
I stitched him over one on 28 count silvered white evenweave using the following colours:
Brown - 801
Green - 3346
Red - 815
Beads - 40557
I changed the red and green because colours can look different when you stitch over one and I wanted them to be a little brighter.
The reindeer himself took exactly one hour to stitch. I timed myself. The border took longer because my son came home from school and there were snack interruptions and I was needed to read the subtitles on a YouTube clip to him!
I have enough fabric to stitch eight of them, there are nine so far. I plan to stitch six of them and finish into a cube ornament and hope that Daffycat does three more so I can have two cubes! If not, then I will "flip" three of them and stitch them reversed. I will have to get some more fabric though.

Cathy's Reindeer
This is Festive Reindeer, the free cover kit from an older World of Cross Stitching magazine.
It was started sometime ago on the enclosed Aida, but I didn't enjoy stitching it so I switched it out for a scrap of an off white 25-count Lugana (the same fabric I used last month). I was able to use all of the floss in the cover kit except for the brown in the reindeer so that's DMC from my stash.

I'm late, I'm late!
Hi guys!
Better late than never right?
Thanks to Lili for the encouraging push to get this finished! This is Merry Christmas by Country Cottage Needleworks from the 2011 Just Cross Stitch Christmas Issue. There are a few unintentional modifications (meaning I was having issues following the chart :), and I changed the colors to use what I had in my stash. Mo's Sale, Classic Colorworks and Crescent Colors and DMC. The fabric is a scrap I had that I think is about 36ct-40ct linen.
I will be starting this months chart right away so I don't end up behind again...hopefully!
Happy Stitching everyone!
Khristine
