DJ's December Ornaments

Hi all!

I admit I ran ahead a bit on these ornaments and finished stitching them last month.  I have really enjoyed this challenge, but I'll be honest and say I think I bit off more than I could chew.   I don't think I'll stitch as many ornaments next year...haha.

First off is 12 Days of Christmas.  This month is 12 Drummers Drumming.  This is from March 1989 issue of Cross Stitch and Country Crafts.  These were stitched on 28 count over one.

Next is Christmas Carols.  This month was a free choice so I stitched Nature Sings by Fancy Work from the 2005 JCS Ornament issue.  It was stitched on natural linen 40 ct over 2.

Last is the free choice from any JCS ornament issue.  I chose Three Wise Men by Marie's Garden from the 2002 JCS ornament issue.  I have had this on my to do list for a long time.  I stitched it on natural linen 32 ct. over two.  I love how it came out.

Now I should get busy finishing them all, shouldn't I?  Thank you for all your hard work getting this challenge together!  I should have enough ornaments to share for years to come now!  haha  Happy Stitching!

Beautiful finishes! I stitched Nature Sings many years ago and it hangs on our Christmas tree. It's one of my favorites!

Wonderful handicrafting. I had idea to write in my Christmas cards instead of typing in & printing. I calligraphy write names inside cards & calligraphy write addresses on envelopes but after calligraphy writing one card I knew I was not going to do more. Instead I calligraphy write letter and am scanning so recipients will not get calligraphy written letter on card but will get a calligraphy scanned letter.
