All Caught Up

I'm a little behind in posting (and stitching ornaments), but I finished the August one yesterday.

June's theme was Christmas animals so I stitched this little owl by Joan Elliott from The World of Cross Stitching #208.  It's stitched 1 over 1 on 20-count gold flecked Lugana.   I will be making this one into a small pillow ornament for my tree.
July's theme was a free choice so I chose a little gingerbread man since I love gingerbread anything.  It's by Lucie Heaton from an older Cross Stitch Crazy magazine and is one of seven gingerbread people available and it's stitched on a scrap of light blue Aida from my stash.  It will be going to WOCS for their Holiday Card project.
August's theme is Christmas clothing and what's more Christmas than an ugly sweater, only I don't think this one's that ugly.  It's from another older Cross Stitch Crazy magazine in the Crazy for... section.  It's also stitched on a scrap of light blue 14-count Aida from my stash (I'd cut these squares for another project and then scrapped that idea) and will also be going to WOCS--I love stitching for Christmas, but don't really need any more ornaments so that's why I give them away.

So, now I'm all caught up and will be starting to look for my September stitch soon.

Great work on your catch-ups and your cosy jumper too. It's nice that there is a good home for all your smalls.
