Serendipitous Jo's April Ornament

Once again I am following the 12 Days of Christmas theme.  This year I am stitching the Stoney Creek 2019 Ornament series as my monthly project.  I have also started the large Bothy Threads' design but won't be completing one block of those per month!

As per previous years, I started the 12 Days on Boxing Day and stitched one day for the next 12 days.  Each month I will return to the relevant Day and finish it.

I did complete the First Day from my Bothy Threads kit of the 12 Days of Christmas.  I love the metallic gold and the effect the couched white thread makes compared to the more usual method of backstitching.

Aimetu's April Ornaments

I'm a little late posting as I was a little late finishing these but here are my two ornaments for April. I really like the beads around my Jardin Prive design but it is a task to attach them as I'm using invisible thread.

Hopefully I'll be on time with my May ornaments. I must remember too to look at the other options for posting.

Suzanne's May Ornament

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is taking care. I've lost a little bit of my desire to finish and stitch so I only have one ornament to share this month. I'm continuing to finish the Pinker n' Punkin Quilting Barnyard Series. This one is called Hanging the Star and fits Theme Four - Christmas Greenery.

I'm stitching this series on 18 count oatmeal Aida with the called for DMC threads. I mixed white and grey for the bottom sheep so he didn't blend in too much with the fabric. I think he looks more "sheep-like" this way too. I'm finishing all of these in the same way, as a flat ornament with jute twine edging and red/white ticking ribbon.

I'm off to visit last month's posts. Happy Stitching!
