Suzanne's April Ornaments

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well this month. I've received my first COVID vaccine and am looking forward to visiting with my family this summer. I am going with Theme Four this month which is a free choice. I've continued to stitch and finish Pinker n' Punkin' Quilting Christmas on the Farm Series which is freebie series on her blog. https://pinkernpunkinquilting.blogspot.com/

This month I've stitched Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Farm. I've stitched these on 18 count oatmeal Aida and finished them as flat ornaments using the red and green twine and red ticking ribbon as I've used on the others. These are a fun, quick stitch and I'm loving how they are turning out.

I am also continuing to stitch the Julia Lucas Designs that I've found in the Just Cross Stitch Magazines that I have. This is in the 2003 Ornament issue and is called "Time of Wonder. I've stitched this on 18 count oatmeal Aida with DMC threads. I'm substituting any specialty threads with DMC though I do have some blending filament for the stars. I'm finishing all of these the same way. Banner style as a flat ornament using green twine.

I can't wait to see everyone's stitching this month. I'm behind in my commenting, so I'll be off to do that. Take care!

Santa and Mrs Claus on the farm are just too cute! I think I am going to have to add those ornaments to my to-do list. And Time of Wonder is absolutely beautiful!

What a sweet Christmas couple. The Julia Lucas is lovely too. I like stitching a whole series of designs from one person too. Makes choosing slightly easier!

Thank you for taking part in the Christmas Ornie SAL this month, Suzanne, and I must say - such gorgeous ornies you have created this month.
