DJ's January Stitching

Hi everyone!  Thank you so much for allowing me to partake in your challenge!  I've had so much fun searching for just the right things to stitch!  So here we have...

For the first theme, a Partridge in a Pear Tree.  These designs are from Cross Stitch & Country Crafts Mar/Apr 1989 issue.

For the second theme, Christmas Carols, Blue Christmas.  I hope this one qualifies, it is one of the patterns from Le Grande Historie de Noel No 1 by Les Brodeuses Parisiennes that DH got me for Christmas this year.

For the third theme, an ornament from 2009 JCS ornament issue, and this is Get in the Spirit by Brittercup Designs.

Now to get my act together and get them finished off!  I'll have to think about that for a little bit though.  Thanks for letting me join, this has been so much fun!!  DJ

Wow, all three themes! You are keen this year. I really enjoyed looking through the older editions of JCS to choose the ornies for this year.

Hi DJ, thanks for taking part in this month's challenge and for being the first to post some yummy Christmas stitching eye candy. You being bold and taking on all three themes this month has certainly inspired me to attempt all three themes this year - although I am way behind already (as always!) . I particularly like your Blue Christmas and the pick from JCS 2009 is so sweet! I look forward to seeing you February post.
