Suzanne's March Ornaments

Hello everyone! I have two themes this month. For Theme One I've stitched Jardin Prive's Twelve Days of Christmas. These took a lot of my stitching time so I think I'm going to stitch these one every two months. EDIT 4/21/22 OOPS! these are Gazette 94 freebies not Jardin Prive.

I stitched these on 18 count Oatmeal Aida with most of the called for DMC threads. I plan on making them into a banner. I want to finish stitching the first six before I make the first banner. I have an idea, I'll see if it turns out.

My second theme is Theme Four - Nutcracker. I've continued with my Nutcracker Sampler and stitched the Mouse King and another Nutcracker that I missed stitching before.
I'm looking forward to the little motifs each month.

My second ornament for this theme is Rhona Norrie's Sending Hugs which she gave away at the beginning of the Pandemic. I left off the Sending Hugs words and added a little mistletoe. I thought the little mice fit the theme and are so cute hugging. This is stitched on 18 count white Aida with the called for DMC threads. Finished as a flat ornament.
This is how I wanted to finish it, but now I think it's too blah or plain. There's too much white space at the top.  I'll have to think about it. You might see this one again next month.

EDIT: I couldn't leave this ornament as is and had to adjust it. I added crinkle ribbon from www.dianamlarson.com. I like it better now.

Thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to everyone's stitching.

Your finishes are all beautiful. I love the Jardin Prive's 12 days and the mice are so cute.

Gorgeous work on your 12 Days but that's actually the Gazette 94 freebie series not Jardin Prive. I'm stitching the JP ones but have downloaded the Gazette 94 for a future year.
Your little mice are so cute, would some green sprigs or ribbon work at the top of the ornament?

What adorable ornaments!

If I could stitch, I would do a tea-themed ornament. Thanks for the visit!
