Faith's May Ornament

The next section of my banner is finished and I think that this is the hardest thing for most people to do. When all the presents are wrapped and looking inviting under the tree everyone always wants to open them and take a peek inside! I used to shake them to see if I could guess what is was and hated the ones that sounded like clothes! ha ha

and this is the way the banner looks so far!

Thanks to those who looked at

See you soon ;)

DJ's May Ornaments

Having a stitch retreat at the beginning of the month sure gave me a head start on the ornaments for this month.  I am having such a good time choosing these, and stitching oldies I've wanted to stitch for years!

So...for the 12 Days of Christmas I have stitched 5 Golden Rings.  This is from a series from Cross Stitch and Country Crafts magazine from May 1989.

For Christmas Carols, Joy to the World, I stitched this little stocking from the 2001 JCS Ornament issue designed by Threads Through Time.

For the 2001 JCS ornament I stitched Home for Christmas by Julia Lucas Designs.  When life slows down this will be finished into a little banner.

And that is all for this month.  Thank you for organizing this challenge, it's been so much fun choosing ornaments for the different themes and finally getting some of the ones I've wanted to stitch for years done.  Happy Stitching!!

Suzanne's May Ornaments

Hello everyone!
I'm continuing with the Just Cross Stitch Theme and have two ornaments this month from the 2001 Christmas Ornament issue. First up is Christmas Cheer by Heart in Hand Needleart using DMC threads on 18 count.
Next is continuing with the Lizzie*Kate ornaments is the Greatest Gift is Love also using DMC threads on 18 count. I like to use up my stash for ornaments.

Can't wait to see everyone's ornaments this month!
