12 Days of Christmas - 1st and 2nd

This is my first post to the group, and I am as always, a little late to the party-

Day 1 and Day 2.  I do hope to have Day 3 finished by month end.   This is a picture of how it will look when it is finished - found in the Cross Stitch and Needle Work Magazine (no longer publishing). I have spent a lot of time deciding if I really wanted to stitch the big pear tree in the middle or just have the days in three rows of four.  There are so many fractional stitches in those leaves. I do think I am going to go with the pattern as charted.

Welcome Melinda! Don't feel bad about being behind, I am still working on December of last year :) Your 12 days design is beautiful!! I do love that big tree in the center but fractional stitches aren't much fun. I am sure it will be gorgeous whatever way you choose :)

Welcome, Melinda. This is another great 12 Days chart. And you still have a lot of time to finish the third day this month.
I love the big tree in the center of the design but I know that fractional stitches can be a pain.

Welcome Melinda! It is good to see you here. I LOVE the design you are stitching and it looks great so far! You are a brave one to stitch all those fractional stitches and I look forward to seeing your tree come to life.

Welcome! I like this design. With the right fabric fractional stitches aren't nearly as hard. But then I'm one of those weird Stitchers who don't mind them. I think that they can really make a difference. Just like outlining can. I have other stitches that are difficult for me.
