It's been a month here at DJ's Digs...but I was able to finish my last ornament yesterday....one day before the end of the month. Whew *wiping brow*!
So...for the first theme, I stitched Two Turtle Doves from a Better Homes and Gardens Publication that was first published in Cross Stitch and Country Crafts from the March issue 1989. This was stitched on 28 ct. linen over one.
The second theme was Holly Jolly Christmas and I found this adorable pattern "Be Jolly" by Angel Stitcin' from the JCS ornament issue 2013. I also stitched this on 28 ct. over one on gold sparkly fabric.
The third theme was an ornament stitched from the JCS ornament issue of 2008. I chose this yellow house by the Victoria Sampler. It was stitched on golden harvest linen 32 count over 2. Hopefully I can finish this up soon, I think it's adorable!!
For good measure, I also stitched an ornament from the 2018 JCS ornament issue City Sidewalks by Glendon Place.
Off to find patterns for the different themes in March! It's fun watching all your projects...and when life in the fast lane slows down, I'll try to come back and post comments. I'm hoping I can keep up with this challenge. Wish me luck!

Honeybee's February Finish
Hi, y'all! Here's my February choice from the 2008 JCS ornament issue. It's supposed to be a biscornu, but I'll be finishing it as a flat ornament.
It's stitched on 28 ct. olive mystery linen with Caron Wildflowers in Snow White and Mint, and embellished with 2mm pearl beads and a Swarovski crystal from Hobby Lobby.
Have a great holiday weekend, everyone!

Mary L's February Ornament
Hi Y'all,
I have chose an ornament from the Holly Jolly selection. This is called Christmas Morning Goodies by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. It is in the 2018 JCS ornament issue.
I really enjoyed stitching this one. I used evenweave and the called for DMC colors.
Thanks for looking,
Mary

Cathy's February Ornament
This is Merry 2008 from the 2008 JCS Ornament Issue and was designed by Glory Bee. The yellow flower centers were supposed to be Rhodes stitch, but I don't know how to do that stitch so I used beads instead.

Cathy's January Ornament
Since I have all of the JCS Christmas Ornament Issues, I decided to do this theme. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the 2009 issue (it's here somewhere, but right now, it doesn't want to be found). Instead I chose an ornament from the 2010 issue. This is Consumed by Gifts from Brittercup Designs.
I'm glad to finally be getting some use out of these magazines!
